I just wrapped up week six of my training program for Gasparilla Half and the Star Wars Dark Side Challenge. I had a goal of reaching 100 miles for January by the end of the week, and I did it!

Training week six: 1/18 – 1/24

Monday – 4.22 miles. Total steps for day: 11,382

Tuesday- 1.04 mile warmup; 3.33 mile Tempo run; 1.01 mile cooldown. Total steps for day: 16,412

Wednesday- 5.08 miles. Total steps for day: 16,551

Thursday- 1.02 mile warmup; 400m repeats (splits below); 1.02 mile cooldown. Total steps for day: 18,866

Friday- 3.70 (treadmill) miles. Total steps for day: 10,465

Saturday- 7.11 miles; 14:06 pace (thank you wind, thank you rain); 1:40:11 total time. Total steps for day: 19,978

Sunday- 10.30 miles. 12:12 pace; 2:05:39 total time. Total steps for day: 19,975
