I just wrapped up week four of my training program for Gasparilla Half and the Star Wars Dark Side Challenge. It was an interesting and fun training week with my revised training plan in hand. Coach is going to slowly ramp up my my mileage to better prepare me for my 2,016 in 2016 goal.
Training week four: 1/4 – 1/10
Monday – OFF. Total steps for day: 5,722
Tuesday- 1.04 mile warmup; 3.13 miles. Total steps for day: 16,189
Wednesday- 2.02 mile warmup; 3.13 miles. Total steps for day: 16,471
Thursday- 1.28 mile warmup; 10 x 1:00 repeats (30 second recovery between each).
- Total for speedwork: 1.63 miles in 14:44.
Total steps for day: 12,921
Friday- 7.08 miles; 11:57 pace; 1:24:38 total time. Total steps for day: 15,262
Saturday- 6.01 miles; 12:33 pace; 1:15:27 total time. Total steps for day: 20,580
Sunday- OFF. Total steps for day: 2,127
