Good morning and happy Wednesday!
I had a great day yesterday; it really just flew by. I was grateful for this because I wasn’t feeling terribly well. I wasn’t feeling ill, just off. I was dragging most of the day and wasn’t interested in eating anything good for me.
One of our reps dropped off some goodies, so I had a couple petite pasties and a mini cupcake for breakfast.
For lunch, I forced myself to eat my large bowl of fruit. Even though I just simply wasn’t feeling it. I forgot to snap a pic, but it included: apples, clementines, kivi, plums, pear, and tomatoes.
5:00 was there before I knew it, and I made my way home as I had plans to get together with a friend. She ended up having to cancel, which was for the better. I got home right around 6, and did my normal checking-Facebook thing. I like to come home, and unwind while catching up on my FB news feed. However, I must be staying up too late because within a few minutes I was dozing off, and…next thing I know it’s 9:30 and the Boy is coming home from work. 😦
I quickly enjoyed a large orange and a delicious sweet potato for dinner…at 10:00. It felt good to rest, but it’s sad because there went my night and it had me wide awake at midnight. Fun! Hehe!
Is this not the cutest thing ever?
This pic made me so so so happy, so…what better time than now to share a few more things making my heart happy.
Gum– Lately I have been digging gum. Anything minty and I’m good to go.
Chips and salsa– YUM! I don’t think it’s possible for me to ever get my fill of chips and salsa. I just bought carrots for a crunchy alternative. I’m hoping to eventually trick myself into thinking they are chips.
Jelly Belly– (to continue the obvious food theme…) I haven’t had Jelly Belly’s in years, but for some reason I got this crazy craving for them a couple weeks ago (probably because I have started referring to Kelly at work as “Kelly Belly Jelly Belly”) and finally picked some up from Target.
Reading– I’m loving this new read. It’s packed with some really great info!
Vacation Planning– even though I get kind of panicky (and crazy) leading up to vacations/trips, I am getting so stoked for the cruise. T-minus 25 days and counting.
Pandora– I go through station phases, but one thing that remains the same? I love Pandora! I listened to my Sevendust station all day yesterday, but I also enjoy the “love songs” station, Iron & Wine station, and classic rock.
